Blank TECU® Seamed Roofing KME TECU® Seamed Roofing Image

The seaming technique makes possible the fixing of trays, which are preformed and installed in either sheets or strips. The seam itself connects the trays. By employing standard metalworking methods to the seams, it is possible to clad practically any building structure or shape without a problem.

Long strip roofing is the most economical yet also technically the best type of copper roofing in crafted seam technology.

Its aesthetic effect is achieved by the standing seams which usually form a series of lines running parrallel to the fall of the roof. However, various geometic forms can be chosen for a design such as arranging bays diagonally or be using tapered or curved bays.

The trays for sheet roofing are manufactured from sheets or short strip sections and require an additional lateral joint between the seams, this creates a grid like appearance. There are advantages in teh crafting quality of the cladding and it is fire resistant.

Blank Batten Roll KME TECU® System Shingles Image The term roll cap or batten system characterizes a type of lengthwise connection in which a wooden batten or a KME-clip made of galvanised steel, is used to form a box-like joint. The roof panels are connected to the substrate by clips on the wooden batten (or directly by the clip), which is then covered by a capping. The three most popular systems still in use today are:

- The Belgian roll cap system,
- The German roll cap system, and
- The KME-click roll cap system.

Blank TECU® System Shingles KME TECU® System Shingles Image TECU® system shingles are large interlocking copper cladding elements for roofs and walls. They have advantages in terms of both design and cost, and they are therefore able to provide an especially affordable, trouble-free covering for facades, roofs and individual building components.

NOTE: MINIMUM 25° PITCH REQUIRED.

TECU® Profiled Panels Image

TECU® profiled panels are roll-formed copper trays with an optimised profile and are cut to length to suit the building. These panels are self supporting and differ from traditional seamed roofing in a number of ways.Profiled panels are a low-cost alternative particularly when roofing large areas.

There is no restriction of bay lengths, no buckling from thermal expansion. minimum roof pitch 1.7° possible due to the elimination of cross joints. No continuous decking required.
