Blank Double Standing Seam Rheinzink Double Standing Seam Image

The term "Double standing seam" describes a type of lengthwise connection between adjacent sections above the water level. Double standing seams should be at least 23 mm high. This connection is rainproof without applying any additional measure.

The edges of the sections can be formed by roll-former or by hand. The seams can be closed either with seaming machine or by hand.

It is characterized by its sharply defined lines and by its numerous detail variations.

Blank Batten Roll Rheinzink Batten Roll Image

The term roll cap or batten system characterizes a type of lengthwise connection in which a wooden batten or a Rheinzink-clip made of galvanised steel, is used to form a box-like joint. The roof panels are connected to the substrate by clips on the wooden batten (or directly by the clip), which is then covered by a capping. The three most popular systems still in use today are:

- The Belgian roll cap system,
- The German roll cap system, and
- The Rheinzink-click roll cap system.

Blank Interlocking Tile System Rheinzink Astro Snap Lock Roof-Trays Image The interlocking tiles are square and diamond shaped. In contrast to sheets or shingles, which can be similar in appearance, tiles are provided with forward-folds on their topside and fold-backs on their bottom side. Tiles are made either by hand or mechanically. Rheinzink supplies six different shapes and sizes as part of its "Rheinzink-finished-product" category.

As part of the continuous development of diamond and square-shaped tiles, Rheinzink also offers so-called large format tiles as part of its product range. With this type of tile, a substantially larger surface is visible. They are available in various sizes up to a width of 60 cm and a horizontal length of 300 cm.

NOTE: MINIMUM 25° PITCH REQUIRED.
